Mega raid against neo-Nazis in Berlin: Police strike hard!
On Wednesday morning, the police and public prosecutor's office in Berlin carried out a large -scale raid against alleged neo -Nazis in several parts of Berlin and Brandenburg. A total of ten objects were searched in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Köpenick and Lichtenberg as well as in Brandenburg's Wandlitz and Letschin. Nine male suspects between the ages of 16 and 23, who belong to the right -wing groups "young and strong" and "German youth" are accused of committing predatory extortion and dangerous bodily harm.
The public prosecutor is investigating the suspects in connection with three raids, including an incident in Marzahn, in which a man was violently removed with a political imprint. Another attack occurred at a bus stop where a man was attacked and injured. During the raid, the police were able to ensure a variety of evidence, including stolen goods, crowds, weapons and illegal pyrotechnics. Around 160 civil servants, including special forces, were involved in the missions to set an example against the increasing violence of neo -Nazis.
