Massive police missions in Kreuzberg: 100 hooded attacks locally!

On May 30, 2025, an intensive police operation in Kreuzberg, in which around 230 emergency services from the Berlin police were mobilized. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon, around 4:40 p.m., in an empty restaurant on Reichenberger Straße, which is located between Lausitzer Straße and Ohlauer Straße. There, around 100 hooded people tried to get access to the premises. About 30 of them managed to penetrate the restaurant, whereupon the police reacted quickly and accompanied the intruders back on the street.

The police carried out measures limiting freedom to determine identities. Superficial injuries were found in three police officers, but they remained on duty. In addition, a spontaneous meeting was reported by one of the people present who reached a number of around 200 people. This meeting ended around 9:45 p.m. A total of 50 people were limited to freedom, and proceedings were initiated for suspicion of breach of the peace and the trespass. According to Berliner Zeitung 15 arrests were made in this context, including five women and ten men. The arrested are suspected of insulting, coercion and use of indicators of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations. The meeting under the motto "Ostermarsch 2025" started at 1 p.m. at Mariannenplatz with around 500 participants, including around 70 people with Palestine train. During the march, a participant was opposed to members of the Palestine Group with the opposite opinion and received police protection. A journalist also reported on struggle by participants. In this context, the police issued a total of 14 criminal complaints for resistance and assault against enforcement officers and for other offenses.

In the meantime there was also an incident in another part of the city that employed the police. In the afternoon, a 39-year-old man in Münsinger Park in Spandau was seriously injured in a dispute with a group of men. A member of this group stabbed him in one leg twice and stole his two mobile phones before the trio fled towards Seegefelder Strasse. When the police arrived, the man was passed out and had to be taken to the hospital for inpatient treatment.
