Traffic redirection in Berlin-Hellersdorf: Construction measures in Stendaler Straße / Landsberger Chaussee

The road construction measure in Stendaler Straße / Landsberger Chaussee ensures temporary traffic restrictions in Berlin-Hellersdorf. The urgently needed renovation of the road requires a section of the crossing area from August 19 to September 2, 2024. This measure is divided into two construction phases in order to maintain the flow of traffic in the best possible way.

• 1. Construction phase: Period from August 19 to August 26, 2024
  During this phase, the Stendaler Straße in the direction of travel is completely closed. The Landsberger Chaussee is reduced out of the city (to the L33) to a straight-ahead lane. A detour via Zossener Straße / Alte Hellersdorfer Straße is signposted.

• 2. Construction phase: Period from August 26 to September 2, 2024
  In this phase, a straight-out and a right-wing lane on Stendaler Strasse remains on the Chaussee. From Stendaler Straße you can only turn right towards the city.

The Berlin transport company (BVG) have set up replacement bus stops in Alten Hellersdorfer Straße to ensure the mobility of passengers. The expected costs for the construction work amount to around 250,000 euros and are financed from funds for district road maintenance. The road and green space office asks all road users for understanding for the temporary traffic restrictions and asks for the responded to the signposted diversions.
