The residents of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district and photography enthusiasts have the opportunity to take part in a photo competition under the motto "My favorite plate". The aim of the competition is to capture the diversity and uniqueness of the large settlements in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. Participants can submit both internal and external shots, details or overall views as well as color or black and white recordings. Each participant can submit a maximum of three photos digitally. The three first places in the competition are awarded money prices worth 150 euros, 100 euros and 50 euros. The aim of the competition is to capture the diversity and uniqueness of the large settlements in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. Participants can submit both internal and external shots, details or overall views as well as color or black and white recordings. Each participant can submit a maximum of three photos digitally.
The first three places in the competition are awarded money prices worth 150 euros, 100 euros and 50 euros. The submitted photos are shown in an exhibition on the large building settlements in the district, which will be shown in the Tourist Info Marzahn-Hellersdorf from June 2024.
Kathrin Rüdiger from the business development agency at the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district office emphasizes the diversity and uniqueness of the district and encourages residents to bring their perspective on the large settlements and to hold onto the beauty of Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The photo competition is open to all age groups and an independent jury will evaluate the submitted photos and award prizes for the best recordings.
Participation in the competition is free and the information can be found on the website of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district at www.dein-marzahn-hellersdorf.berlin. The deadline for the photos is May 1, 2024 and the winners will be awarded in the tourist information at the opening of the exhibition in June.
