Discover the hidden stories of the Marzahner - book presentation in district central library!

Next Monday, September 30, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., the district central library Mark Twain in Marzahn, Berlin, invites you to the book premiere of "We Marzahner". The photographer Asger Hunov presents his book, which shows an unknown side of the Marzahn district.

Marzahn is often shaped by dreary prefabricated buildings, but this district has much more to offer. Asger Hunov, a professional photographer from Denmark, was attracted to the architecture, but soon found that people in Marzahn had fascinating stories to tell. Therefore, he has created over 50 portraits and interviews with the residents to document life in Marzahn.

The book "We Marzahner" will be published on August 27, 2024 in Bebra-Verlag as an illustrated book. The publisher is known for its extensive program on topics such as history and culture. The event is free, but donations for the support association of the city library are welcome.
