Book cell Kaulsdorf destroyed by vandalism - district center asks for support

The Kaulsdorf book cell was again victim of vandalism, and the Kaulsdorf district center calls for support in the reconstruction. The popular book cell, which was only re -established in the summer of 2023, was senselessly destroyed in January 2024. According to the district center, initiatives around district centers and clubs are always the goal of anger and aggression, as was already the case with the bicycle service station in Hellersdorf.

The Kaulsdorf district center asks for donations to rebuild the book cell. It is emphasized that there are still enough books because there is a camp in the district center. The book cell not only served the exchange of books, but was also a meeting point for neighbors. The district center is also happy about the help of building and has already mobilized some neighbors who have offered their help.

To collect donations, a donation box was set up in the nearby supermarket “near and good” and a donation account was set up. Interested parties can contact the Kaulsdorf district center in Brodauer Strasse to offer their support or transfer donations.

It is unfortunate that such a popular and sensible facility has become victim of vandalism. It is important that the community comes together to overcome such negative events and strengthen cohesion in the district. Every form of support and solidarity is of great importance in such a situation.

The Kaulsdorf book cell was very popular and served as an important meeting point for the neighborhood. It would be regrettable if vandalism and destruction would lose this valuable point of contact. It is to be hoped that the community can help to restore the book cell and to set a sign against such destructive actions.
