Construction work on Heerstrasse: full closure from April 2024

From April 22nd to 30th, 2024, Heerstrasse in Berlin will be completely closed due to urgently needed renovation work. The construction work extends from the lowland road to Chemnitzer Straße and are essential to ensure traffic safety. Depirtions are set up for road users: Lindenstraße / Zimmermannstrasse can be used from the south, from the north of the Hultschiner Damm or Köpenicker Straße. In consultation with the BVG, there will be a signposted diversion for public transport, with set up replacement stops along the new route.

The construction costs for the renovation measures amount to around 250,000 euros and are financed from the pothole program of the Berlin Senate. The street and green space office asks all road users for understanding for the resulting traffic restrictions.
