Löwin at Kleinmachnow - warning to population
A run -down Löwin keeps Kleinmachnow and the surrounding region in suspense. The police started a search and warn the population of the big cat.
On Thursday morning, a presumably run out of Löwin triggered a large search for the police. Helicopters from the state and federal police with thermal imaging cameras are also involved in the search for the outlier. A spokesman for the West Police Directorate said that the police were in action together with the veterinary office and hunting tenants. The suspicion is that the big cat is in the regions of Teltow, Kleinmachnow and Stahnsdorf.
In order to warn the population, residents in Kleinmachnow, Stahnsdorf and Teltow were asked to leave their houses via the Warnapps Nina, Katwarn and Biwapp as well as social media and speaker announcements. Kindergarten children in Kleinmachnow are not allowed to go outdoors and pets should be brought into the apartment.
So far it is unclear where the lionin comes from. Zoos, zoo, circus and animal welfare facilities have already been checked, but no lionin is missing, as a police spokesman explains.
A video clip was published on Twitter, which probably shows the run -out Löwin near a forest near Kleinmachnow. The video was recorded by a driver and appeared on Twitter around 2 a.m. At that time, the police were already looking for the animal. A police spokesman told the RBB that two passers -by had seen a lioness who ran a wild boar. It is believed that the Löwin is currently in a forest area and may sleep.
The residents of Kleinmachnow so far react relaxed to the situation. In the morning at 7 a.m., only a few people are on the roads. The warning of disaster protection is largely not taken seriously. The daycare centers in Kleinmachnow are open, but the children are not allowed outside. The town hall also remains open, but the dealers on the market were recommended not to build up any stalls. The search for the Löwin is hardly noticeable in the town center.
The police and the residents hope to capture the animal as quickly as possible to ensure the safety of the population.
