Dear German, look at your capital - and finally learn to love them! Berlin is often viewed with a critical look and is regularly the most unpopular German city in surveys. Even in declarations of love, it is complained about the city. Of course there are problems such as drug dealers, dog piles or homeless people, but is that really a reason to condemn Berlin? In the past 30 years, the city has developed from a shared ruined city to a world metropolis. There is enormous economic growth, many company settlements and a flourishing start-up scene. Berlin has 250,000 international students at 40 universities, 200 museums, three opera houses and a pulsating nightlife that knows no peace. The per capita income is now above the federal average. Nevertheless, Berlin is still affordable compared to other world cities. According to a study on affordability, Berlin is in 40th place out of 400 German counties and cities. Of course it is sometimes loud and dirty, but that is part of the hustle and bustle of a growing city. Let us love Berlin and not always complain. Berlin is unique and deserves our support and love.
