Diversity of water: a day of environmental education at Lichtenberger schools

A shining signal of environmental protection flashes on 17. October 2024 ! The Lichtenberg district councilors Sandy Mattes and Filiz Küllüoğlu have set off to celebrate the 4th day of environmental education at various schools - an event that is supposed to awaken awareness of the precious treasure water! Under the exciting motto "Diversity of water - everything flows", the garden work school at Trautenauer Straße 40, Berlin, is worked hard into the hands.

On impressive 10,000 square meters, the pupils can experience how exciting environmental education can be. All classes, courses and after -school care groups of the Lichtenberg schools are invited, and no stone is left on the other - the water can be discovered here in all its facets!

The two city councilors in class 1c of the Seepark elementary school joined a radiant smile. Here a little adventure becomes of it when they explore the miracles of the water together with the curious children and bring a water wheel to life with pumps - it splashes and bubbles, and the children's eyes shine with joy and amazement!

This day, which takes place once a year, is organized by the Coordination Center for Nature and Environmental Education Lichtenberg. It offers an excellent opportunity to present the diverse environmental education offers, bring them directly to schools and enable as many children as possible as possible!
