Important photo exhibition in Berlin: "Is there!" Illuminated opportunities for opportunities

Am 12. September 2024 an impressive photo exhibition is opened in the Benn Alt-Hohenschönhausen meeting room, which is devoted to an often overlooked problem of society. The vernissage takes place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and attracts both art lovers and interested parties from the region.

The exhibition entitled "Is there!" shows the works of the photographer Jesús Cabrera Hernández . His photographs illustrate the challenges that people face who have difficulties reading and writing. Everyday situations in which they are confronted with texts make the difficulties of participation clear. The support is often refused or they feel left alone, which is not only frustrating, but also difficult to integrate into society.

It is from AOB e.V. and the MGH Gneisenaustr. e.V. organized and coordinated by the Alpha alliance Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The initiative also receives support from the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing and the Lichtenberg district office.
