Queer art and cultural days in the city park in Lichtenberg: program and highlights

The 3rd "Queeren Kunst- und Kulturtage" take place on the weekend from July 6th to 7th, 2024 in the Lichtenberg city park on the Parkaue. Supported by the Lichtenberg district office, the event and culture promises art and culture of queer artists in a variety of forms. The program on both days starts at 3:00 p.m. and offers visitors in addition to concerts but also readings, market stalls, food trucks and other highlights. District Mayor Martin Schaefer will open the event on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

This cultural highlight is intended to make the variety of queer art accessible to a wide audience. By participating in renowned artists, the importance and quality of queer art is emphasized. The event promises a wide range of performances of all genres, from drag shows to music to rap and electronic music.

Some of the highlights of the program include appearances by Sasha Glam, member of the "House of Mitchell", LNA, an emerging voice in the German Queer Pop, Alice Dee with their energetic rap salvons and aka Kelzz, the Neo-Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Electronica combined in his music.
