New construction projects in Lichtenberg: Five preliminary notices and building permits in March 2024

In March 2024 there were a total of five new entrances to construction projects with a value over € 1 million in the Lichtenberg district office. The projects include the construction of row houses and residential buildings, the construction of residential and commercial buildings as well as the change in use and conversion of a listed clinker building to the day care center with youth leisure facility. In addition, five applications for the building permit in the district office were submitted in the same period, which include the construction of new residential buildings and apartment buildings as well as the construction of a town house and apartment buildings.

In March 2024, five building permits were also granted, including for the construction of a new family house, a daycare center with 105 seats and an office building. In addition, projects for the construction of new buildings and technical systems for the transport of district heating were approved.

These construction projects and permits have potentially significant effects on the local economy and living situation in the Lichtenberg district. The creation of new residential and business buildings can contribute to a positive development of the housing and labor market.
