A festival for climate awareness and mobility in Lichtenberg

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1pm to 6pm , the traffic school at Baikalstraße 4 in 10319 Berlin-Friedrichsfelde will experience a regional highlight: the Lichtenberger Verkehrs and climate. This event not only offers a platform for clarifying environmentally friendly mobility, but also promotes active exchange between citizens: inside and local actors: inside.

The event will be opened by the district councilor for the environment, Filiz Küllüoğlu (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen), as well as the school councilor, Sandy Mattes (SPD). Fun and entertainment offer clown performances, a “race for slowness” and the puppet theater piece “Coral reef”, which is performed at 4 p.m. These artistic offers help to convey the sensitized handling of climate protection in a playful way.

There will also be something for every taste: guests can look forward to a varied range of food and drinks. The Cuban band Grupo Canney donates musical accompaniment, whose rhythms will enrich the atmosphere of the festival.
