Lichtenberger volunteer days: committed coexistence in the district!

The Lichtenberger Volunteer Days are just around the corner, and the citizens of the district are encouraged to participate in various social projects. Under the motto "common thing", organizations and initiatives will offer opportunities from September 20 to September 30, 2024.

The diverse possibilities range from the production of baby toys to garbage collecting to collecting together with wheelchair users. The focus is on living together in the district and the experience of experienced solidarity.

A special highlight is the event "Engagement makes you beautiful" on September 27, 2024, which is organized by the district office and its cooperation partners from 3:00 p.m. Here the committed citizens are honored for their commitment, and the youth commitment award is awarded.

District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) emphasizes the importance of engagement and cordially invites everyone to celebrate and discover how everyone can cause something positive.
