The Eddi statuette, a true work of art, was designed by the talented sculptor Esther Brockhaus, inspired by the Great Edgar Külow, who once lived in Lichtenberg. The price is not only intended as an award, but also associated with an impressive prize money that has been donated by the Lichtenberg district since 2018. In the past, brilliant artists such as Christian Ehring, Christine Prayon and the ensemble "Die Distel" have already been honored.
