Lichtenberg, watch out! Until 20. November 2024 you can make your voice loud to redesign the Gudrunstraße! Whether online or personally in the district center on Fanningerstrasse - every contribution counts! In cooperation with various planning offices, the makers of the city have developed three exciting suggestions that aim to transform the road into a green paradise.
The Gudrunstraße should not only remain a thoroughfare, but also act as an important connection between the lively Frankfurter Allee/Siegfriedstrasse and the tranquil central cemetery. This is about more than just asphalt! The goal is an increase in attractiveness for all citizens: inside and the creation of a connection to the wonderful cultural and natural areas nearby, such as the popular Landscape Park Herzberge. Climate change requires solutions! Therefore, a concept is pursued that improves the microclimate and mitigates the consequences of climate change. With a creative mix of tangible, green solutions, the majority of the sealed areas are to be converted into usable, green infrastructure.
