Lichtenberg starts adventurous campaign for job perspectives!

On October 11, 2024, the Lichtenberg district office starts its new employer campaign under the motto "The mountain calls!-Your Lichtenberg at job perspectives". With this creative approach, Lichtenberg wants to draw attention to the diverse job opportunities in the district and position itself as an attractive employer. District Mayor Martin Schaefer explains that the public service must be active in the competition for specialists. Lichtenberg has around 310,000 inhabitants and, like many public institutions, sees itself confronted with an acute lack of personnel because many employees retire.

In order to maintain citizenship, the district office will invest around 1 million euros in personnel marketing, organizational development and the employer brand by the end of 2025. The classic campaign will be supported in the next four weeks by posters, online advertising and influencer marketing. The highlights are the BVG tram in the market design and strikingly designed vehicles for the final of the Festival of Lights.
