Jordan shoots Iranian drones - neighborhood help at night

On the night of Sunday, Jordan also took part in the defense against Iranian drones that aimed at Jerusalem. According to reports, Jordanian fighter jets managed to intercept dozens of these drones near the Iraqi-Syrian border. The Jordan government confirmed the incident on Sunday morning, whereby the drones had penetrated into the Jordanian airspace, but did not cause any injuries or major damage.

Although Iran Jordan warned of interference in the conflict and threatened with consequences, Jordan made it clear that it would shoot drones that violate airspace. For security reasons, Jordan had already closed the airspace on Saturday evening and only reopened after ten hours. During the attack of Iran on Israel, the remains of shot down rockets from the sky were reported in Jordan.

The approach of Jordan is particularly remarkable, since it was not only against Iran as an Arab country, but also against direct Arab countries such as Syria.
