Now submit digital mobility projects to the German Mobility Prize

Digitization and mobility are key topics in today's society. In order to appreciate projects that create innovative solutions for sustainable mobility, the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV) annually awards the German Mobility Prize (DMP). The competition offers companies, start-ups, networks, initiatives, municipalities and administrations the opportunity to submit their projects, products and applications in the field of digital and traffic.

Up to August 18, 2024, applications can be submitted in four different categories. The categories include "digital Transformation and AI", "new mobility solutions", "design" and "practical examples". The BMDV is looking for directional projects that combine digital systems with networking, digitization and artificial intelligence.

The German Mobility Prize attaches particular importance to citizen participation. In addition to experts from the areas of digital and mobility, interested citizens also have the opportunity to propose innovative mobility projects. A citizen will even be part of the jury.

The Federal Minister of Digital and Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing, emphasizes the importance of the German Mobility Prize: "The competition inspires to use the potential of digitization and create innovative solutions for modern, networked and sustainable mobility."
