historical parallels
There are many examples of exhibitions in the art world that deal with similar topics as the current exhibition "I Only Work with Lost and Found". A historical parallel could be the Dada movement that was created in the 1910s. Artists like Marcel Duchamp and Hannah Höch also played in their works with the loss and rediscovery of meanings. The Dadaists have taken existing objects and presented in a new context, similar to how the artists of the Goldrausch artist project do. Despite the temporal and cultural differences, these examples show how artists always work in their work with the lost and found.
