A festive start full of emotions and urgent topics: The Human Rights Film Festival Berlin has opened its doors today! Under the patronage of the top -class Can Dündar and a powerful opening speech by Luise Amtsberg, the federal government's human rights officer, around 450 guests flocked to the cinema in the Kulturbrauerei.
In the middle of glamor and glamor, the opening film Democracy Noir from the renowned director Connie Field, who takes a shocking look at the functioning of authoritarian systems in Hungary. The protagonist Babett Oroszi was also on site and passionately discussed with the audience about the huge influence of documentary films on society.
