Generation Z: remains as you are - despite the post -pandemic generation war

Title: Generation Z: Hold through and stays as you are

subtitle: A defense of Generation Z compared to condescending prejudices

In a post-pandemic generation war, prejudices are again spread over the young generation Z. It is time to defend themselves against these hostility and to recognize that Generation Z actively shapes the future.

Generation Z is often deaf and unable. But an experience in a restaurant shows that these prejudices are unjustified. A young waiter, who was confronted with Gen-Z-Bashing from all sides, demonstrated his competence and worked precisely and without errors. He showed that it does not matter to the age or prejudices, but on the skills and skills of a person.

However, it is worth asking whether the older generation that makes fun of the gene made it better at the time. The Boomer generation also had its danced and disoriented moments. At that time it was common to change the subject several times and to need a long time until the end. The boomers also had no guarantee on a well -paid job. The world of work and the requirements have changed, and the gen z must meet these challenges.

The gen z grew up in a time. School time was shortened, the Abitur is completed earlier, training and study times fall in the Corona Lockdown. You now have to deal with questions of your own future, define your goals and wishes and make the best of your Situation.

It is important to recognize that the gene has experienced the hamster wheel of their parents and therefore does not simply want to fall into the same junction. You have the need to do meaningful work and be picky instead of just being challenged by others. It is time for you to take the initiative yourself and cannot be restricted by the older ones in their decisions.

According to loud voices, generation Z lacks spelling. But in a digital future, spelling is no longer decisive. Instead, completely different skills such as data analysis, visualization, and the sensible use of artificial intelligence are required. Gen Z will have to live and develop new skills in a time of lifelong learning. It is in the older generation to support these young people and learn from them instead of reducing them.

Generation Z is different, but that is not negative. They grew up in another time, have experienced a pandemic, do not know a life without the Internet and have to deal with a climate crisis. Instead of smiling at them, we should recognize their strengths and support their visions.

Finally, the words of Greta Thunberg have to be remembered by the older generation: "How dare you?" How can you dare to reduce generation Z and to question your skills? Let us encourage the gene and show them that we believe in them.

It is time to keep out and stay as you are as you are, dear generation Z. The future is in your hands and I have confidence in your skills and strengths.
