Information event for the modernization of the urban port on July 3, 2024

Eine Planung zur Erneuerung der Uferwege und Freiflächen am Urbanhafen in Berlin wurde im April 2024 vorgestellt. Im Mai fand eine Online-Beteiligung auf mein.berlin.de statt, begleitet von Vor-Ort-Gesprächen mit der Gemeinwesenarbeit Urbanhafen. Das Ziel war, ein Stimmungsbild zur konkreten Planung einzuholen, um diese weiterzuentwickeln. Die Ergebnisse der Beteiligung werden am 3. Juli in einer Info- und Dialogveranstaltung im Nachbarschaftshaus Urbanstraße präsentiert und diskutiert. Die Beteiligung der Bürger*innen an Stadtentwicklungsprojekten spielt eine wichtige Rolle, um die Bedürfnisse und Wünsche der Anwohner*innen zu berücksichtigen. The district councilor Florian Schmidt emphasized the importance of participation of the citizens in the planning. The combination of on-site and online participation enables all users of the open spaces and bank paths to make their voice to be heard.

The event on July 3 offers the participants the opportunity to contribute additional information on the planning and to discuss with the planning at various thematic tables. This participative approach promotes transparency and democracy in urban development processes.
