A fascinating spectacle of the senses awaits visitors in the gallery in the tower in Berlin! From October 24 to January 12, 2025, art lovers can experience the latest installation "Rain Machine" by the creative duo Nils Blau and Raphaël Fischer-Dieskau. This ingenious machine combines the feeling of fresh rain with the unmistakable sound of mechanical engines. The result: a captivating interaction of nature and technology.

The opening of the spectacle takes place on October 23 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is inaugurated by the district mayor Clara Herrmann. Entry is free so that nobody should miss this unique experience!

What can visit visitors?

Imagine: engines that rattle gently while drops fall on the ground - sometimes gently, sometimes roaring. The installation not only awakens memories of fresh rain, it also creates a conscious experience of the often overlooked sounds and moods of nature. Blue and Fischer-Dieskau invite visitors to grasp the rain with all their senses and at the same time think about the interaction of humans and machines.

But that's not all! In addition to the fascinating exhibition, there will be an exciting accompanying program:

  • 5. November: Lecture "From the ice age to the hot season: the climate crisis from a historical perspective" with Jannis Buttlar.
  • 28. November: artist discussion with Nils Blau & Raphaël Fischer-Dieskau.
  • 11. December: Sound Performance with Mariana Carvalho.
  • 8. January 2025: Curatorial leadership with Melina Gentner.

The creative minds behind the "Rain Machine"

nils blue, graduate of the University of the Arts Berlin, explores the interactions between nature and artificial structures in his works. At first glance, his interactive, sculptural ceramic installations of ceramics are of course - and ask the viewer to recognize seven from the transience of nature.

Raphaël Fischer-Dieskau complements Blau’s vision with his deep understanding of the connection between man and machine. As a multi -artist, he studied in the Haag at the Royal Academy of Arts and deals intensively with the creation of multi -sensory experiences. The "Rain Machine" is therefore a creative answer to a natural phenomenon that visitors can experience up close.

The place of the event, the gallery in the tower, is a facility of the Friedrichshain Kreuzberg district office and thus a central starting point for those interested in art in Berlin.
