Death as a constant companion: Katja Lewina talks about mortality and loss

The district librarian of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Clara Herrmann, announced a special event that deals with an existential topic. The author Katja Lewina will present her book “What’s Forever” and read from her essays.

In the book, Lewina reflects on mortality, loss and the finiteness of life. After being diagnosed with heart disease two years ago, she began to accept her own finitude. Readers are taken on a journey that raises existential questions: How does our finitude change our love relationships? How do you explain death to children? What do we want to leave behind?

The reading will take place on October 14th at 7 p.m. in the Pablo Neruda District Library in Berlin. Admission is free, but registration is required. The author Katja Lewina, a renowned journalist and best-selling author, will be there in person to read from her book and talk to the audience.

An event that stimulates thought and critically examines existential issues. An evening that offers deep insights into human existence. Further information and registration at www.berlin.de/pressemitigung-258.
