Friedrich-Naumann Foundation: Scholarship for trainees in Berlin and Brandenburg
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is committed to equality between professional and academic training. She sees both a degree and an apprenticeship as an equivalent path to a successful and fulfilling profession. In order to support talented and committed trainees in Berlin and Brandenburg from the 2nd year of training, the Foundation awards scholarships. These are intended to promote talented and curious young people who actively work for liberal values, democracy, the rule of law, social market economy and an open society.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is pleased about the large number of applications that have already been received and points out that applications are still possible for a few days. The application deadline is June 30, 2024. All necessary information can be found on the foundation's website.
This commitment of the foundation can also be considered against the historical background of Berlin's history. Berlin has a rich training tradition and is known for its diverse educational offers. Since the division of the city in the Cold War, education has played an important role in the development of the East and West of Berlin. The promotion of young people in their training is therefore an important aspect of the work of the foundation.
