Berlin, October 15, 2024 - a brilliant sign for the future! The Foundation Heritage sets an outstanding highlight and gives the first sustainability award "Future heirs" for the young generation. Two great projects have emerged through their tireless commitment to climate protection and social justice: The Solarcamp Freiburg and the Climate Determination Association receive the award, which is endowed with impressive prize money of a total of 15,000 euros!
In an exciting ceremony, prices will be handed over on November 5, 2024 in the renowned science forum of the eco-institute in Berlin. A real occasion for cheering joy!
Solarcamp Freiburg: Der engine for the energy transition!
The Solarcamp Freiburg - here craft and sustainability are very important here! This innovative initiative has developed into a driving force in the practice-oriented training of PV assembly assistants. In particular, Flinta*people and other disadvantaged groups benefit from an educational offer that seamlessly combines theoretical knowledge with exciting practical experience in the solar industry.
Imagine: Over 50 committed participants have already been trained and move a breath of fresh air to the industry. The solar camp not only ensures the urgently needed young professionals, but also promotes social cohesion in the collective and strengthens local networking. Climate determination e.V.: Citizens' Councilor for Climate Court!
On the other side of the struggle for a better world, the Association Climate Determination e.V. These heroic initiators are actively committed to the convening and support of citizens in order to advance the sustainability transformation. Your vision? A democratic participation that all brings to the table and strengthens social cohesion!
Since 2019, climate determination has achieved considerable success! You have helped to design the Berlin climate citizen and advise numerous nationwide projects. Your mission is clear: to establish citizens as smart instruments for decision -makers in climate protection. They show impressively that community participation and targeted support for civil society initiatives are the key to sustainable solutions!
Prof. Rainer Grießhammer, board member of the Future Erbe, emphasizes impressively: "Both award winners are exemplary for the future -oriented approach to combine ecological sustainability with social justice and democratic participation."
