Gamescom 2024 / Exclusive preliminary sessions: Experience the ARD games "Greenenguardiansvr" and crime scene-game
From 21 to August 25th, ARD reveals its impressive gaming portfolio for all visitors at this year's Gamescom in Hall 10.1. In addition to live streams from the ARD twitch channel and podcasts, gaming fans can test the latest ARD game innovations themselves.
A highlight of the fair is the multiplayer VR experiment "Greenenguardiansvr" (GGVR) on the subject of "climate-effective lies". Instead of reporting on the climate crisis, the game relies on humor and the common experience to change the world positively. Players immerse themselves in a futuristic world and slip into robot avatars. Together they expose a large -scale disinformation campaign and save the climate. Feedback from the players enables continuous further development of the game in cooperation with the gaming community.
In an exclusive preliminary session, crime fans can test the crime scene Ludwigshafen in the crime scene game "Your Right" in advance and solve the case. The game is a continuation of the crime scene of the same name on television. In addition, the status gives insights into the making of the game.
The ARD stand in Hall 10.1 Stand C069 will be a meeting point for well-known streamers. Prominent names such as Starlet Nova, Varion, Lostkittn and more important will be on site and send it on the ARD twitch channel.
A special feature is the interactive Twitch format "Work Hard-Play Hard", in which Kai Gniffke, currently as an ARD chairman, is virtually designed by his very personal ARD of the future. Users in chat on Twitch are also invited to bring in their ideas and to take part in a creative exchange about the media of the future.
The ARD Podcast "Tour Group Gamescom" transports the feeling of gamescom with the stories of the day. A new episode appears every evening in the ARD audio.

- Saturday, 08/24/2024: Saturday is all about "Henkes Corner" with Lostkittn and "Work Hard-Play Hard" with ARD chairman Kai Gniffke.
- Sunday, 08/25/2024: Sunday begins with a transfer of "Question" and ends with the "Gamescom podcast", which sums up the entire gamescom.
