Löwin run out of excitement in Berlin and Brandenburg - police warn residents of leaving their houses
Title: Löwin causes excitement in Berlin and Brandenburg
subtitle: Police warn residents of leaving their houses
The residents of the towns of Kleinmachnow, Teltow and Stahnsdorf in southern Berlin are currently in turmoil. The police have issued a warning and advises the residents not to leave their houses and bring their pets inside.
The reason for the warning is a runaway wild animal, which is probably a lioness. Five hunters with anesthetic rifles are already looking for the animal in the area of Stahnsdorf and Kleinmachnow.
According to information from the Bild newspaper, the animal has apparently already torn a wild boar. The situation is very serious because the run -up animal is a potential danger to the population.
The police have been using a large contingent since midnight to find the Löwin. Two police helicopters with thermal image cameras circle over the region. Despite intensive searches, the search has so far been unsuccessful.
The origin of the animal is currently unknown. At first there were assumptions that it could have escaped from a circus. However, the police denied these assumptions and confirmed that no zoo or circus misses an animal.
The police ask the population for help and relevant information under emergency number 110. It is extremely important that nobody is in danger. Therefore, the authorities ask to follow the instructions of the police.
The warning of the police was spread through the Warn app Nina to inform the population about the danger. An affected area was marked orange to point out the residents of the impending danger.
It is hoped that the run -out animal can be found and captured as quickly as possible so that the residents of Kleinmachnow, Teltow and Stahnsdorf can surely leave their home again.
