Doppelganger murder: Brutal case shocked Ingolstadt and the nation!

Almost three years after the shocking murder as part of a folk festival in Berlin-Neukölln, the judgment against the perpetrator is now final. The 20-year-old defendant was sentenced by the Berlin District Court for a youth penalty of eight years for murder. In the decision of the Federal Court of Justice there was no legal error, as rbb24.de reported. The fatal attack occurred in April 2022 when the defendant from revenge brutally attacked the 25-year-old victim with a knife and stuck a total of ten times into the upper body. The conflict between the two men had begun in a dispute over a refused handshake. The district court rated the crime as insidious and as murder for low motives.

In another frightening case in Ingolstadt, 25-year-old women and her accomplice were sentenced to life imprisonment for the so-called doppelgangin murder. They had a 23-year-old woman from Baden-Württemberg, who looked like her, in the trap to brutally kill her. According to Infranken.de this happened in August 2022, when the defendant offered the victim under the pretext of cosmetic treatments. Ultimately, both perpetrators stabbed the victim with 56 knife stings before they removed the body in the car of the accused. The court also found that the crime was committed due to family disputes and the longing for a new life, which is why the particularly serious guilt was determined, which almost excludes a possible early discharge.
