New study shows: Moving movements in Germany

Bonn, July 29, 2024: A current study by Deutsche Post address analyzes the moving movements in Germany and provides interesting findings about the most popular streets and the motifs behind the moves. The study is based on anonymized moving data and a survey of over a thousand people who have moved in the past twelve months.

most popular streets for parades: According to the study, Europa-Allee in Frankfurt is the street with the most moving movements in Germany. 628 entries and extracts have been registered there within the past twelve months. In places second and three follow Chausseestrasse in Berlin with 603 moves and Schleißheimer Straße in Munich with 591 moves.

At the end of July the lowest reluctant to move: The study shows that the months of July, August and September are the most moving months. In contrast, the least will be moved in February, November and December. Especially the last week of each month has a large number of moves.

Half of the removals inner city: When moving, the average distance between the old and the new residence is about 44 kilometers. However, 47 percent of all moves within their own city or community are carried out. Only about every eighth changeover moves from one federal state to another.

post backlit based on the wrong address: A challenge for Deutsche Post are the postal returns due to false addresses. There are around 100,000 letter disposal every day that cannot be delivered and must be sent back to the senders. Companies such as travel providers and donation organizations in particular suffer from the fact that only 3 to 6 percent of customers or donors provide their new address after moving. Deutsche Post offers a re -sending order and a free movement notification via the Portal Ztraschen.de to support the transformer in the update of your addresses.

over 8 million removals annually: A total of more than 8 million people move in Germany each year. The motives range from extract from the parents' house, together with a partner to job changes and family start -ups. The acquisition of residential property and changed living conditions also play a role.
