New wax figure by Elvis Presley in the Madame Tussauds in Berlin unveiled
The Madame Tussauds in Berlin has a new attraction: a freshly waxed figure of the Rock’n’Roll legend Elvis Presley has been admired since Friday. The unveiling was carried out by Grahame Patrick, star of the musical "Elvis". The wax figure is extremely realistic and shows Elvis in one of his iconic jumpsuits, especially the American Eagle from 1973. The musician was wearing this outfit during his legendary "Aloha from Hawaii" concerts, wrote the story in the media and music world.
The figure is characterized by the lip pulled up one -sided, the black colored great velvet and a chopper and a Hawaiian flower wreath around the neck. In order to appreciate his time as an entertainer in Las Vegas, the wax figure of a comprehensive freshness was subjected. So far, visitors have been able to see a waxing image of Elvis in uniform, which represented the musician as a recruit during his military service in West Germany in 1958.
Grahame Patrick, who unveiled the new figure, is not only Elvis actor in the musical "Elvis-The Musical", but also a big fan of the King of Rock’n’Roll. He expressed his enthusiasm for the lifelike illustration and explained that he had never come so close to Elvis.
The work on the figure lasted a total of six months and were carried out by 22 artists. Each of them invested in the project for several hundred hours. The wax figure weighs a total of 45 kilograms. It replaces the previous Elvis figure, which has been on the road under the Linden since 2008, after 15 years of service.
The Madame Tussauds in Berlin gives visitors the opportunity to personally meet the King and have them photographed with him. The realistic wax figure is certainly a highlight for Elvis fans and all music lovers.
