The attack on Donald Trump makes a skill light on the split American society. The Presidential candidate of the Republicans, known for his provocative statements, is said to give a speech at the party congress to call for unity. But how credible is this step when Trump is known for split and attacks?

Trump has perfected not only to criticize his political opponents, but also to ridicule them and to attack them. This method of agitation is his trademark, and his followers expect exactly that from him.

It is questionable whether Trump can do a moral change after the attack. The polarization and humiliation of his opponents are deeply rooted in his political style. It is therefore likely that he will clamp the incident into the election campaign and use it for his own political goals.

The debate about gun ownership in the USA is again involved by the assassination attempt. Trump, an advocate of the right of weapons, will probably not make any changes in his attitude even after the incident. He sees the right to a weapon as inviolable, although many Americans feel the consequences of these lax weapons laws every day.
