Deutsche Telekom counters Höcke's false statement

Deutsche Telekom vigorously reacted to the assertion of the AfD politician Björn Höcke regarding an alleged earlier advertising slogan of the company and is examining legal steps. Höcke claimed in a TV duel with CDU politician Mario Voigt that Telekom used the slogan "Everything for Germany" a few years ago, which was rejected by Telekom as wrong.

The sentence "Everything for Germany" in question is a forbidden solution to the SA (storm department) of the NSDAP, which Höcke brings to court in court next week because of the accusation of using the license plate. This controversy is not the first time that Telekom is making false claims. Last year, AfD federal spokeswoman Alice Weidel, who made similar statements about the promotion of advertising.

Höcke defended his use of the slogan during a TV duel by claiming not knowing anything about the SA slogan. He described her as a "common saying". Telekom has made it clear that such false claims are not tolerated and legal steps are initiated to protect their interests.
