Desjoyaux Pool-School: inspire and overwhelm free seahorse courses for children

"Desjoyaux" Pool-School "-an overwhelming success: Social engagement meets huge demand

The initiative "Pool-School" of the renowned pool builder Desjoyaux has exceeded all expectations and is an impressive success. In cooperation with the Swimming School Sharky and under the patronage of triathlon legend Jan Frodeno, the company offered free swimming lessons for small children. The courses took place in the exhibition pools of the Desjoyaux dealer network throughout Germany.

The great demand for the courses exceeded all expectations: in just 24 hours there were over 2,100 registrations for the total of 312 available places at the 13 Desjoyaux dealers. The crowd was particularly large in Berlin, where 364 children registered for the courses.

The managing director of Desjoyaux Germany, Axel Steinbach, emphasized the social commitment that is behind the initiative: "The 'Pool School' is a matter of the heart for us as a pool manufacturer. We want to help children be safe in the water and at the same time discover the joy of swimming. The enormous encouragement shows us how important this commitment is."

Anna-Lisa M. from Freising, whose child participated in one of the courses, expressed their gratitude: "I am Desjoyaux infinitely grateful for this opportunity. My son not only learned swimming, but also gained self-confidence in the water. This initiative is priceless for the safety of our children."

The success of the "Pool School" in 2024 only marks the beginning of long-term cooperation. Desjoyaux plans to continue the program and to teach a total of 5,000 children in the coming years. Steinbach explains: "We have recognized the enormous need for children's swimming courses. The positive response confirms us to further expand our commitment. In the coming years we will offer even more courses to convey this vital ability as many children as possible."
