Senior event: Tips against pickpockets with police commissioner Kühl
Next Thursday, January 11, 2024, an event of the senior citizens' representative will take place in the senior club at Herthastraße 25a in Berlin in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. Chief Commissioner Michael Kühl will give a lecture from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The event is aimed at seniors who want to find out about the topic of pickpocketing. Participation costs two euros, which also includes the enjoyment of two cups of coffee or tea. Further drinks and dishes can be purchased at the regular prices of the senior club.
It is recommended to register in advance in order to be able to plan the event better.
pickpocketing is a widespread crime that affects older people in particular. In the past, there were always cases of pickpocketing in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. The senior citizens' representation is therefore committed to informing older people about preventive measures and behaviors to protect themselves from thefts.
The lecture by police chief commissioner Michael Kühl will certainly offer valuable tips and information on how to effectively protect yourself from pickpockets. Especially in large cities such as Berlin, in which pickpockets are unfortunately not uncommon, it is important that seniors are well informed.
It remains to be hoped that the event will attract many interested participants and help to raise awareness of the topic of pickpocketing and to better protect the older population in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
