Schoelerpark Block -Passion Fully restored: new ways, improved drainage and planned green area renewal
renewal of the Schoelerpark completed: a milestone for the local community
The complete restoration of the block -through in the Schoelerpark marks a significant conclusion in a long process of renewal and maintaining our local green areas. Since the start of construction in September 2023, the main work has been successfully completed by May 2024. The parking paths were renovated on an area of around 850 square meters and improved drainage with a one -sided profile was installed towards the park side. In addition, around 150 square meters of mosaic plaster surfaces were redesigned to adapt the new height of the paths. Since the end of May 2024, the parking paths have been reopened gradually for the public.
The total cost of this ambitious restoration project was around 550,000 euros, and the financing was carried out by the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment as part of the "measures to improve foot traffic". This investment shows the government's commitment to maintain and improve public green spaces in our city.
Even if the main work has now been completed, there are still final measures, such as the greening of the lawn and the replanting of shrubs in autumn 2024. However, during this time the park will continue to be accessible to the public, without any noteworthy restrictions.
The restoration of the paths in the Schoelerpark is not only a step to improve the infrastructure, but also a symbol of appreciation and respect for our nature and the environment. With modernized paths and improved drainage, visitors and residents will be able to enjoy a more pleasant and sustainable parking experience in the future. These measures help to increase the quality of life in our community and to increase the attractiveness of our district.
The successful completion of the restoration work in the Schoelerpark is proof of the positive development and cohesion in our community. May this milestone serve as inspiration, to protect and appreciate our green areas in order to preserve them for future generations.
