In the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district in Berlin, the first of a total of over 40 new cycling boxes will be set up in December 2024. These new "cycling boxes" offer bicycles protection against theft and weather influences and are specially intended to facilitate the use of bicycles in everyday life. A parking space is rented for only 11 euros per month to cover the costs for maintenance and cleaning.
