Heinrich-Schulz library extends weekend opening times until December 2024

The Heinrich Schulz library will extend its weekend opening hours from June 1, 2024, until December 22, 2024. On all weekends, the library will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. During these extended opening times, service offers will be restricted on Saturdays from 4 p.m., as no specialist staff will be on site. This means that consultations and the use of internet and PC workstations will unfortunately not be possible on Saturday afternoons.

Despite this restriction, the library will continue to offer an extensive offer. Visitors have the opportunity to borrow and return the media, with the exception of Tolinos, Tonies, Tonie boxes and contrasts that can be handled via the existing machines. In addition, various events are offered, including a reading of the “Work” novel by Thorsten Nagelschmidt as part of “Berlin reads a book” on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 2 p.m., as well as a matinee of the Spiegel bestseller “Beyond Putin” with Gesine Dornblüth and Thomas Franke on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 11 a.m.
