Bundestag debates: Courage to de -bureaucratization of the real estate industry

drama in the Bundestag: bureaucracy relief on the brink!

Berlin, 09/26/2024 - Today it will be exciting! The relief of bureaucracy in the Bundestag is on the agenda. But is that really the big throw that the real estate industry hopes for? Zia President Iris Schöberl warns for caution: "We see a mixed picture-the last courage is still missing!"

With the Fourth Bureaucracy Responsibility Act (BEG IV) , the large plan for relieving the bureaucratic superstructure is presented in the second/third reading. But what are the highlights that the industry could really inspire? Digital progress is on the agenda!

positive surprises and dark sides

The real estate industry can promise initial relief:

  • Operating costs will be provided digitally in the future - "Germany reaches the 21st century!" Cheers Schöberl. This measure will relieve the landlord enormously.
  • The deletion of the registration certificate in the hotel industry could also let the industry breathe - but only for German citizens.
  • In addition, the shortened storage periods are progress for booking documents, although the real estate industry would have liked more here.

But not everything shines! A blatant minus point in the new bill could cause a lot of trouble:

  • The planned text formal requirement for commercial rental contracts comes with many question marks. The unclear new regulation could be replaced by this unclear new regulation, which seems at least legally shaky. Schöberl warns: "Depereability requires courage to leave even old!"

Waiting for the tax continuing development law

But that's not all! Another critical point comes into play today: The Taxet Continuation Act is discussed for the first time. Here the real estate industry hopes for decisive changes. Schöberl expresses significant criticism of the "notification obligations for national tax designs": "This only promises more bureaucracy without any recognizable benefits." It calls for a clear departure of unnecessary regulations!

How will the Bundestag react to this explosive debate? The eyes of the industry are aimed at the meeting, because the relief of the BEG IV must not be undermined by new bureaucratic loads!

In the background, the central Immobilien Kreinch e.V. (ZIA) acts as a strong voice for the real estate industry. With over 37,000 companies, he stands up for a uniform advocacy and is present throughout European politics. President Iris Schöberl will do everything possible to enforce the concerns of the industry!

How will the situation develop? The Bundestag gives the answer - and the hope of a bureaucrust -like future dream remains alive.
