Series of robberies: Police arrest 22-year-olds in Berlin!

In a spectacular police raid in the Berlin districts of Rudow, Britz and Buckow, a 22-year-old suspect was arrested on driving service providers because of a series of robberies. This targeted assignment took place in the night from July 2, 2025 and followed for months of investigation that showed troubling patterns of raids. Drivers were often ordered for short trips, only to be forced to surrender cash to the target of perpetrators with knives or irritable gas.

A particularly brazen attack occurred on June 19 when a 47-year-old driver was attacked by two men. In a parallel campaign, the police learned about a current incident in which a 60-year-old driver was also threatened by a supposed passenger. The 22-year-old performed with an accomplice, but the law enforcement officers were lightning-fast and arrested him immediately after the attack, while his accomplice was able to flee. After a search, the officials found evidence in the suspect's apartment. It is now in custody, while the investigation continues to uncover possible connections to further raids.
