In a shocking incident in Biesdorf, a 16-year-old boy was brutally attacked! Last night, an off-duty police officer watched from his balcony as two teenage victims - a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old - got into an argument with a group of up to twelve people. During the commotion, the young people were sprayed with irritant gas and the 16-year-old suffered serious head injuries from glass bottles. The attack escalated when the teenager, who was already lying on the ground, was kicked out of the group.
Rescue workers were quickly on site and took the seriously injured boy to hospital, where he is being treated as an inpatient. His friend, the 17-year-old, initially refused any medical help. The perpetrators from the attacking group fled, but two stolen sports bags belonging to the victims were found nearby shortly afterwards. The investigation is in full swing - a specialist from Police Department 3 (East) has taken over the case and is looking for further clues.
