Lotto business in Berlin-Mitte: Four men threaten holders with a firearm and rob daily income
In Berlin-Mitte, an owner of a lottery business by four men was threatened and robbed by four men on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. on the Eower Road in the Wedding district. The 48-year-old shopkeeper was on the road with the daily income at that time. The perpetrators threatened him, took the money and then fled to a rental vehicle.
Fortunately, the 48-year-old was not ready to just accept the robbery. He followed the robbers with a witness and at the same time alerted the police. The officials were finally able to stop the escape car on the A100 at the Siemensdamm driveway. Two of the alleged robbers aged 20 and 22 were arrested there. However, the other two suspects first escaped. In the course of the arrest, part of the stolen money has already been secured. The investigation regarding the further remaining of the money and the two fleeting perpetrators continue to run. The police continue to look for information and asks witnesses who have relevant information to report.
This incident again shows how important it is to inform the police immediately if crimes suspected. Criminals can only be caught by quick intervention and cooperation between the police and citizens and such offenses can be informed. It is particularly important in big cities like Berlin to be vigilant and not to ignore suspicious incidents. If each one makes his contribution to security, we can contribute together to contain crime.
