Berlin students shine in the Red City Hall at MINT ceremony

A festival of innovation! Today, on October 7th, the Red Rathaus in Berlin turned into a cheering center of the MINT talents. 60 brilliant students from 19 schools were awarded for their impressive achievements in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology!

For the fourth time, the Senate Education Management, together with the national Excellence Schulnet network, invited MINT-EC to this brilliant celebration. The radiant talents were not only honored for their successes in MINT competitions, but also for obtaining the coveted MINT-EC certificate-a sign of extraordinary commitment beyond the lessons!

Outstanding services recognized

Not only the students were in the spotlight! Two impressive teachers were also recognized: Juliane Scholz from the Romain Rolland-Gymnasium and Mirco Tewes from the Primo-Levi-Gymnasium were honored for their extraordinary commitment in the MINT subjects. These ambassadors of knowledge and inspiration have promoted the next generation of scientists and technicians.

An exciting program for the day was the rousing keynote of Dr. Carmen Köhler, an analog astronaut and expert in artificial intelligence and data. The listeners captivated their fascinating insights into the topic of "Journey to Mars" and gave them an outlook on the future of humanity in space!
