Berlin starts with Esports Team: Talents discovered for the future!

On Monday, June 16, 2025, the "Esports Team Berlin" will be presented in Berlin. The press event takes place in the LVL World of Gaming at Schützenstraße 73 and begins at 2:30 p.m., whereby the admission will be taken at 2:00 p.m. The aim of the event is to promote the Berlin ESPORT WASE, a concern that is pursued in the context of a cooperation with the eSports Player Foundation

A total of 20 young talents, which are prepared for a professional career in eSport, are presented as part of the event. Your selection process included applications from the popular games League of Legends, Brawl Stars and EA Sports FC. The event is opened by Franziska Giffey, the Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Companies, as well as Julius Althoff, the managing director of the eSports Player Foundation.

At the press event, guests have the opportunity to exchange ideas in personal conversations with talents, coaches and those responsible for the project. In addition, an exclusive presentation of the "Esports Team Berlin" is planned. Questions are also welcomed, and individual interviews can be coordinated on request. The eSports Player Foundation has committed itself to offering both young and established talents in eSport. This initiative is financially supported by the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia and the state of Berlin as well as by business partners. The shareholders of the eSports Player Foundation include the game-Association of the German Games industry. The Supervisory Board consists of companies in the eSport scene, the games industry and representatives from politics and society.
