From the support of newcomers: inside to significant economic impulses for the regions, festivals contribute to a dynamic cultural discourse. These events are often based on voluntary work and support non -profit purposes by offering workshops and educational formats. This is also shown in the more than 1,800 festivals that are recorded for a comprehensive nationwide study, which should deliver 2024 results reports Live culture .

The project is scientifically accompanied by the Institute for Demoscopy Allensbach and the research center "C: Pop" at the University of Paderborn, which has 20 years of experience in the study of pop music cultures. Prof. Dr. Beate Flath and Prof. Dr. Christoph Jacke leads the study and thus head for transparency and to understand the festival structures in Germany at writes the University of Paderborn .
The results of this study, which are to be published in summer 2025, will be freely accessible and should serve to identify the challenges and needs of the festival carriers. This is particularly important in view of the constantly changing framework conditions for cultural events in Germany.
Overall, the “Allee of the Sounds” festival not only reflects the cultural diversity of the region, but also focuses on social cohesion and the meaning of music as a connecting element. These initiatives are crucial to promote a lively and integrative cultural landscape.
