Trouble in Milow about planned diversion and three and a half years of construction time on Friedensstraße
Expansion of Friedensstraße in Milow - trouble about planned diversion
It is bubbling in Milow. The reason for this is the planned expansion of the passage through. In view of the poor condition of Friedensstraße and the associated sidewalks, this has long been longed for by many people. After the publication of a press release from the State Business company, uncertainty among the population is now great. The expected construction period of three and a half years, the planned diversion and the previously unsuccessful waiting for a residential assembly provide a lot of frustration.
"We are constantly discussing this topic. People keep asking me because they know that I am a community representative, when it finally starts with the construction work," reports Hartmut Hübener and makes it clear: "People are unsettled and acidic because the residents have not yet taken place, but now there is a press information in the world. They now need information that has your hand and foot."
Because this has not yet existed, after the publication of the State Service State Department on the Facebook page "Our Life in the Milower Land" was created, a heated discussion emerged. "Chaos inevitable", says a Facebook user who lives on Friedensstraße and writes: "3.5 years-where are the specialists? Such an important street, feeder to the highway, would have to be built in a very short time. But we have already seen that at the bridge and the first roundabout. Without words."
Another user looks worried about the upcoming construction phase: "So for three years, six days a week, I will have to travel 42 kilometers for a way to work, then to work 4.5 hours. Well, I have to go back again, 84 kilometers a day. So a third of my wage for petrol is on it." It demands a better regulation for commuters and residents in Milow.
The note that the route is a motorway feeder comments on the Facebook user with irony: "The motorway feeder is officially via Premnitz and Brandenburg. We only imagine the many traffic." This is also the reason that, after the first section of the L96 expressway (bypass in Altbensdorf) was completed, the second section was not built. Otherwise, all places between Knoblauch and Milow would have had a bypass.
"The fact that many truck traffic ensures that houses can get cracks and children can no longer play on the street, nobody is in mortal danger.
A resident from Milow can only laugh about the speed restriction in 30 km/h for truck: "Especially in the evening they race through that you really almost fall out of bed! Too bad that the citizens of Milow have no say." The man even has ideas on how to make through traffic noise and security. "Once looked at Spain, they solved it perfectly as an EU. But unfortunately we are here in stupid. So we are waiting for 3.5 years, and everyone laughs. And it will be more expensive anyway."
Another woman finds this "everything incredible". "No information from the community, and when it is said for three years, it is four to five." Meanwhile, a resident is still waiting for a residents' meeting in which the construction work is discussed. "I always only see the surveying company, feels six times, but no information. Should I fly to work?" Asks the man.
is surprised by another Facebook user: "Do I understand it correctly? Then the detour towards Genthin goes over Cuxwinkel and Klein Wusterwitz, the worst humpback slope that I have ever seen? If this is the case, there is hopefully damages for all destroyed chassis after three years of construction. (...) That it has to be done, but the duration is ridiculous."
"Is that meant seriously or is that a printing error?", Another user wants to know. Another woman has one answer: "This is serious, otherwise it would not be there. Bad, and for three years." For 3.5 years of construction for two kilometers of road and sidewalks, someone comments: "Just don't let any hurry." And another user writes: "Made in Germany just takes far too long." Milowerin Janina Rall, on the other hand, tries with humor and makes a not very serious suggestion: "Maybe we should all help a little, then we can do it in three weeks. Joke aside ..., that's really big shit."
Meanwhile, Felix Menzel, Mayor of the Milower municipality (SPD), has expressed detailed about the attached criticisms.
