1 & 1 Versatel lifts the internet speed in Germany to a new level! Using the groundbreaking optical transmission technology "FSP 3000" from Adtran, a powerful network for companies and state institutions is created. This latest technology radiates like a light beam through the fiber optic lines and enables incredible bandwidths of up to 800 Gbit/s, which can be transmitted simultaneously by the FlexGrid technology. "Due to the latest developments in optical technology, our network remains future -proof," enthuses Martin Fischer, CTO of 1 & 1 Versatel. This year, the innovative technology is to be installed in over 135 strategic locations across Germany, 250 new connections to 75 traffic relations are to be implemented. Together with Dacoso, an experienced IT service provider, Adtran has developed a system that has grown to the challenges of the future. Christoph Glingener from Adran emphasizes that this solution enables companies to work more efficiently with digital tools and to optimally use the opportunities of networking.
