In Berlin, two suspected burglars were arrested on August 21, 2025. An investigative court has issued arrest warrants against a 28-year-old and a 25-year-old who are suspected of participating in several housing burglaries in the city. The police led information to his whereabouts to Berlin-Charlottenburg, where the emergency services observed him and his accomplices.

There they entered several apartment buildings and carried out preparatory actions for possible burglaries. In particular, adhesive threads were placed as aids to explore the apartments. These methods are not unusual among burglars and apparently served to check the absence of the residents.

The two men arrested around 1:40 a.m. on the night of August 21. After access, they were brought into police custody, and the 28-year-old's apartment was searched at the order of the public prosecutor.
